TRAIN
EVERYONE
ACCOMPLISH
MORE

We believe that no individual makes a Fire Department. Training is a group effort. When everyone trains in the same manner, each firefighter becomes an integral part of a well organized, well running machine.  When we work as a team we will accomplish more.

Each member is required by the North Carolina Department of Insurance to obtain a minimum of 36 hours of training per year. Much of our training is done "in house", meaning that we provide this training at our station. This allows our members to receive their training without having to travel to different locations throughout Randolph County. Our "in house" training reverts back to the T.E.A.M concept. When we all train together we learn to work as a team not as individuals. This ensures that everyone will  know what to expect at the scene.

During the 2008 year our members obtained a total of 1076.50 hours of training. We thank all of our members that gave their personal time to do this.
